Pomegranates have a mild smell that’s earthy and sweet.

• What does it feel like?
Pomegranates have a (red) thick, fibrous skin with the inside (red) arils buried in chambers. The arils are very juicy and they contain the flesh which surrounds the seeds.

• Where does it grow?
Pomegranate is native to Asia. They are also cultivated in the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and the United States.

• How do you eat it?
Pomegranates arils are mostly eaten by spitting or swallowing the seed. They are also juiced and used to top dishes like salads and desserts.
